Cyber Bullying
Alisha is an eleven year old girl with an addiction of texting … Non- stop! But one day … Ping! Alisha gets a text but not from her friends, saying mean things. She just ignores it. Ping! Alisha gets another text, instead of saying mean things it has an upsetting picture. She tries not to notice it. Ping! That’s the fifth mean text in an hour. She had had enough and she throws her phone in the bin. The next day Alisha goes on her laptop to chat but the bully joins and starts swearing. She goes off her laptop and onto her tablet. “Ha! The bully can’t bother me now!” She yells but the bully still found a way to get to her. “I should tell someone,” Alisha thought, ” but they would make it worse!” She kept on going from thought to thought wondering what to do. In the end she decided never to tell anyone and just hope the bully leaves her alone. It has been six months now and every day of those six months Alisha has been bullied. She won’t eat, sleep, go out of the house, go to school or see any of her friends and no one knows about the bully. What should Alisha have done? Alisha should have told her parents right away so they could tell the police then the police could track the bully down |

Phone calls
Last week my mum got a strange phone call, this is what happened
Ring! Ring! My mum walked over to the kitchen window to pick up the phone. She looked down, unknown number it said on the front of the phone. “Hello I’m from the Sky box company,” said a mysterious voice from the other side of the phone.
“Oh uh hi,” replied my mum curiously.
“Please open your laptop and go on the sky website,” said the voice again.
My mum had to develop in her mind what the man had just said “Why does the man want me to open my laptop,” she thought.
“Um I don’t have one I would go on it though,” my mum said in a rather believable voice when really we do have a laptop. My mum finally put down the phone after a very curious call.
I think my mum did the right thing. She could off got a virus or nasty images popping up on her laptop.
Remember stay safe whilst on a phone call!

HOW TO BE SAFE ON YOUR MOBILE PHONES!
Hi guys! We would like to tell you how to be safe online, especially mobile phones.
When you get pop up messages, that are bad, don’t delete them because you need the evidence to show someone you know and trust. If you get an unknown number, don’t call them back or text them because they might send nasty messages back. Whenever you download a game, there might be an error or you might have to pay for it. In our days, on phones, we are connected to the internet so that’s why we need to be careful.
Keep your personal details to yourself because people might find out your personal details. Don’t lend your phone to someone you don’t know.
